Pessac-Léognan wine
The Denomination of Origin Pessac-Léognan is of French origin, a subregion of Graves to the south of the city of Bordeaux. Encompassing the towns of Pessac Leognan, Mérignac, Talence and Grézillac.
The grapes of this region for white wines is the Semillon and Sauvignon for the reds of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The aromas of red fruits, ripe fruits and cocoa dominate the reds, whites and orange sticks, wood and passion fruit.
The appellation Pessac-Léognan Cru Classés have all indicated in the classification of the years 53 and 59. The vineyards cover an area of 1,350 hectares, its soils are gravel.
